Tour Program

St,Petersburg is beautiful in any season. But it is apparently for a short period in June with its coming of the White Nights that it is at its best. Born by the genius of Peter the Great in light May days, St.Petersburg Has forever preserved a mystical link with this uniquely beautiful season of the northern year.

Day 1      

  1. Arrival in St.Petersburg. Transfer from the airport to the hotel / hostel, accommodation.
  2. Panoramic city tour – all major highlights in the course of three hours tour including visit to The St. Alexander Nevsky Lavra – the cathedral  of the Holy Trinity and two cemeteries adjoining the monastery-are places of general reverence. They form a memorial necropolis where the tombstones of many prominent state and cultural figures of the 19-20 centuries can be see.
  3. Free time
  4. Boat trip “Along rivers and Canals”.******

Day 2       
 

  1. Breakfast.
  2. Excursion to the Hermitage Museum – one of the major museums in the world. Its collection consists of nearly 3 million works of art representing all the times and peoples.Founded by Catherine the Great as a private collection, the Hermitage turned over the years into a major public art museum. Exhibits are displayed in five linked buildings along riverside.
  3. Evening performance Folkshow with fourchette at Nikolaevsky Palace or Mariinsky ballet.******
  4. Transfer to/from the performance******

Day 3       

  1. Breakfast.
  2. Tour to Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) – the sumptuous palace and sprawling park in 25 km. south of  St.Petersburg were created under Empresses Elizabeth and Catherine the Great in 18 century. Visit to the Great Catherine Palace and walk along the picturesque park.
  3. Dinner or lunch in a Russian style restaurant.******
  4. Night excursion “Bridges hanging above the waters”- the slow sunlight does not cede to darkness, and the whole city is saturated with a phantasmal movement, in which a sense of the soul of St.Petersburg haunts you.******

Day 4

  1. Breakfast.
  2. Tour to Petrodvorets (Petergoph) – official residence of the Russian Emperors in the past. In 29 km west of St.Petersburg on the Gulf of Finland, the most impressive of St.Petersburg’s  suburban palaces. In good weather it is well worth spending here minimum 4-5  hours, enjoying the various palaces, the parks and sea view. Petrodvorets  includes several other mini-museums of interest, which are also worth seeing due to it’s architectural and historic  importance.******
  3. Airport transfer. Departure from St.Petersburg
